TRAFFIC QUALITY SUMMIT

ABOUT THE SUMMIT

The AdGear Traffic Quality Summit is a participant-driven forum for one of the biggest challenges facing online media buying today: traffic quality.

 

This May, we will build on the dialogue from last year’s Summit by focusing on a range of issues related to traffic quality, such as new kinds of fraud, the promise of programmatic direct, how to assemble an ad stack that works, using data management platforms and cross-device measurement technology, and more.

 

To encourage genuine open dialogue, we’re running the summit under Chatham House Rule: participants can use ideas from the summit, but they will be asked not to attribute specific comments to other participants.

 

Real action is only possible if a diverse group of stakeholders commit to combating the issue. That’s why technology providers, publishers, networks, exchanges, advertisers and agencies all have a responsibility to address threats to traffic quality. The work starts with honest discussion.

 

It's an open registration event, but participation is mandatory. We're all part of the solution.

Joanna O'Connell

Director of Research

AdExchanger

Joanna O'Connell joined AdExchanger as Director of Research in September 2013 to develop proprietary research and thought leadership on the future of marketing technology, and be the voice of the marketer in a rapidly evolving ecosystem.

 

Prior to joining AdExchanger, Joanna served as Principal Analyst at Forrester Research for over three years, serving marketing leadership professionals and covering programmatic digital media buying, audience and data management and multi-channel measurement. She has more than 13 years of experience in the interactive marketing industry, beginning her career at Avenue A in New York City as a digital media planner, later serving as a founding member of Razorfish's ATOM Systems agency trading desk and more recently running Brand Relations for the Audience on Demand practice at VivaKi (Publicis). Joanna has been featured on NPR and is a frequent speaker and panelist.  Joanna graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Vassar College with a BA in Psychology.
